The guitar plays cleanly up the 25 1/2″ scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The nitrocellulose lacquer Shell Pink gloss finish was lightly sprayed, similar in application to a Fender “Thin Skin” or “Flash Coat” finish, and the prominent grain of the ash body can be faintly seen (and felt) through the gloss.
